Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette Swatched and Reviewed

Seems like everyone and their grandmother was hyped up to buy this palette once it hit the Sephora website. I grabbed it 3am last Sunday morning and managed to play around with it enough to give a clear consensus... this palette is amazing!

This is the seventh installment in the Naked Series from Urban Decay, the fourth if you count the main palettes. This palette is full of shades meant for dramatic, smoky looks, but surprisingly many of these shades can be used for daily wear! The shades range from cool, neutral, to warm toned, and there is a healthy balance of each. Each shadow is 1.3g of product, at $64 for the whole thing.

Surprisingly, the colours in this palette don't show up muddy against my deep skin at all! They blend beautifully and are incredibly creamy. The only shadow I'm not digging is High, as it feels a little rough on the fingers in terms of texture. Otherwise, every colour, especially the mattes, feel super buttery when applied. As we're used to with Urban Decay eyeshadows, the pigmentation is out of this world.

L to R: High, Dirtysweet, Radar, Armor, Slanted, Dagger, Black Market, Smolder, Password, Whiskey, Combust, Thirteen

You can pick up this palette in any Sephora store near you, or online.
